NSGI Achieves CMMI Level 2 Certification
Gaithersburg, Maryland, January 30, 2009 – Network Specialty Group, Inc. (SDB, 8a), a leading provider of IT services, has achieved a CMMI Level 2 rating by the Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) - a global standard reserved for companies that exhibit world-class software development capabilities. With this achievement, NSGI joins a select group of high performing software companies worldwide who have been assessed at this level. The independent appraisers reviewed NSGI operations using the prescribed Standard CMMI® Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI Class A). CMMI practices will allow NSGI to accurately define, manage and implement projects, ensuring that project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
